Anyone ever use ONE of these on a stock 225 6? Seems like a versatile, tuneable carb. I've heard they are going back into production and am seriously thinking about running one.
 
I bet some of the folks over on The HAMB have used those before. You might try askin over there.
 
I'm not surprised. They are a kinda funny bunch over there. I would suspect though that those carbs act just like the Holley 97 or Stromberg 94 as they are in the same class and meant for the same type applications. ....IF that helps at all.
 
Thanks. I'm mostly looking for a nice 1 or 2 barrel that would play well with a header and maybe intake. Trying to do this dart as daily transpo.
 
I think a stock 318 carburetor would work great and probably be a lot cheaper.
 
For everyone's edification, photo below. $330 at Jegs. It bolts to a 1930's style 3-bolt intake, so it is mainly for period hot rods. I agree that a Carter BBD is hard to beat as a 2-barrel choice, and bolts right to a Super Six slant intake.
