I cleaned out a property for a pending sale and thought I might be able to use these for something.
They are water proof on one side and absorbent on the other.
Turns out they work great for keeping oil off your headers when removing your oil filter during oil changes.
Just lay one absorbent side up over your down tubes.
On cool pipes of course.
