Diagnosing a front end wiggle at 35mph

That will be checked when I rotate the tires.
Plus I'll do a good inspection of the supports etc.

My reason for unloading the torsion bars is to see the play in the lower control arm pin. my guess is it looks like the one dadsbee posted.

I'll do a play in the lower ball joint test as well.

Thanks all
for the mopar torsion bar cars the lower ball joint is the one which takes the bulk of the load of holding up the front of the car. When you see an old Mope on the road and the tires are tipped in at the top, that is usually a result of severely worn lower ball joints.

Like was said really look close at LCA bushing. Take picture with flash, then zoom in. Also look at k-member stud hole weld.

same with UCA bushing

same with inside of the back side opening for the strut rod bushing.

Lower ball joints on right side didn’t look right. But though to tell. Jack on LCA (easier) or unload everything

also seen the welded nuts on k-member break welds and come loose and the steering gear itself gets loose.
