I am not near the car at the moment, but if anyone were to guess, what would be the diameter size of the front sway bar on a '65 Belvedere I be....... 1 1/8"?

Thanks!

I once had a 65 Coronet 440 and personally pulled a factory sway bar off a Coronet 500. They are not very thick at all -maybe 7/8 or maybe even a bit less than that.

I guess I had better measure it LOL

I agree. Best to measure, because the factory bars were not too heavy.

I'm surprised a Belvedere I had a sway bar.

Could have been ordered separately or part of a handling/heavy duty suspension package according to my 65 Data Book - although it covers the Coronet, I’m sure it would apply to the Plymouth B Bodies as well

Definitely could be ordered, I just finished a 65 Satellite that has been owned since new & it was ordered with a front sway bar. I don't remember the measurements & it's now back with it's original owner.

I'm ordering a front end kit for my Belvedere and it is asking for the front sway bar size including the diameter. I guess I will have to measure it before ordering. Thanks for the input guys!

Are you going with the early style sway bar? It’s the style where the ends mount to the strut bars.
