need assistant in wiring it in need to know where the three leads go coming from the dimmer switch any to the headlight switch any help is appreciated 1973 dodge dart with factory replacement headlight switch

The above, and dimmer switches are simply. They are SPDT (single pole, double throw) The headlights power coming out of the HL switch feeds the common on the dimmer. One wire from 1 of the 2 remaining terminals feeds lo beams, and the last one feeds hi beams. It simply toggles power between hi and lo.

The following clips are from the factory manual. Take some time to learn how to use it as the diagrams in 73, for A bodies are drawn completely differently than previous years. The layout of the connector, "CI-3" means, "connector, instrument panel, number 3" is on page 8-167, down on past the diagrams.

The diagram containing the dimmer/ headlights wiring is on page 8-157. Get back pages before the diagram, and read some of the text and index. You can look up various switches, and they give you map coordinates to find them on down the pages. I don't care for how these are drawn, sometimes.

ALSO ON THE SAME site mentioned above, are 2 page 3rd party diagrams, which are not as detailed, often omit accessories, but are sometimes easier to follow. You have to "unzip" them in groups and pick the one you want. They all work the same. You need 2 pages to make a complete diagram, as such
