Direction of oil filter?

I'm trying to mount Spitfire headers in my Dart 63 / 273.
Run in to problem directly, I need to switch direction on the oil filter adepter. From pointing back, to pointing forward, i.e. 180 degrees.
Is this ok, or do I causing problem in the oil flow?

Yep, you're in good shape. It really makes no difference what direction the filter points.
