Do I have the wrong tranny?

I think I found why my crossmember doesn't bolt in.... I think I have the wrong tranny....

It's a 904.... But it only has a 14" tailhousing.... Arnt they suppose to be 18"?

If it was 18" I think everything would fall into place.... By a quick measurement....

So basically do I need a new trans with a 18" tailhousing....

They are the tranny Id number.... So it a car tranny... 904!!!

Wtf is wrong with my car and not bolting up!?!?!?

You sure you don,t have a 727? Some pics of the pan area would help.

a 904 is 31" a 727 is 35". i have had a 3 speed manual, a 904 and now i have a 727 all bolted up with the very same crossmember and trans mount...

Should not matter -- mount is in same place
