Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat and Chevy Corvette Stingray

Looks like the Vette isn't a top of the line ZO6. Looks like a fun test though. Not many Hellcat owners will ever get to open them up. LOL

It wasn't a ZO6. It was a regular Corvette. The Z06 is 650 hp. The 'Vette in the test was a ZR1, about 200 HP less than the Z06.

The power to weight ratio of the z06 is much closer to the Hellcat's p:w ratio, and would make a terrific match up.

Gotta make a correction there. The ZR1 was part of the C6 models (last gen) and made 638HP. What your looking at is a standard 460HP (give or take a few HP) C7.

Now based on the video it would seem as though the standard did pretty well considering the ~247HP difference, just think of what the actual Z06 650HP will do. Honestly I think the Z06 would eat that Hellcat alive even with the HP difference. That and the two cars are not even in the same category, just sayin.

You're right.

Still, for a 4 door sedan, the Hell cat is a monster. The dealership network seems to be doing it's best to capitalize on it, though, and that alone is going to limit who gets them, especially since they are presently going to as much as 3 times their MSRP.

btw, Z06's aren't cheap, either.

You got that right...

In a more perfect world all roads would be straight
