Dodge Dart Lite

-
When I was driving my Feather years ago I passed a dark brown Lite.
I said "What the heck was that?????"
Only took me 30 years to find one and all the stars aligned.
Maybe star crossed, but I am having fun.

More warm weather progress.

Quite a lot of difference from the original drivers side to the 73 passenger side.
Grain, detail around seat latch and a fake seam.
Material is totally different also.

Still cleaning inside the car.
I put this together to suck the dirt and junk out of the cowl.

Laying under the dash I see this on the cowl!

At least they were trying to keep the rust under control.

I did similar with a length of 1/2 inch vinyl hose on my shop vac. I got 70 lbs of super fine Texas and or Colorado high desert red clay dirt out of it.

I have a bag of artifacts that I found in the most interesting places, like a clear plastic cup from a liquor store in TX inside the quarter window area, no way it got there without the rear armrest removed!

Party on the 2nd shift!

Removed the head.
Lots of piston clearance, bores other than the ridge look good.
It wasn't rusty which is what I was concerned about.
