Dodge dart rear valance problems

So the rear valance i have for my 72 conversion is tweaked more than i like, i think its been hit and chipped the corner where it meets the 1/4 ext...yeah i could repair it but the problem is the corners line up like crap to say the least so what does the masses say, New part from AMD or a fiberglass piece from AAR- difference of about $70 or so. I just want the best fit possible. Any experiences with these parts?

My rear valance on my 70 was toast as I got hit on the drivers side quater. I got a salvageable one with damage on only the passenger side and was going to use the welder to make one good one. Then I found an even better valance at a local Pick N Pull yard. Think the price was less than $25. Check around, the AMD ones are pricey.
