I was reading somewhere about left hand threads on Mopar third members, true for the 8 1/4 versions? Thank you.
Does an 8 1/4 rear end have left hand threads on the insides?

yes the ring gear is held on with left handed threads
The only left hand threads on a 8 1/4 are the ring gear bolts.
