I have a pair of heads that have never been bolted on anything. I showed some pictures to another member, and he said that they look like someone had started porting on them. I had always assumed it was just some cleanup that Edelbrock did to the ports on heads during the machining process to clean up the ports and get rid of casting flash.

Does anyone have any pictures of their new Edelbock heads that we can compare to? These heads are at least 5 years old, if that makes any difefrence.

Thanks.

Thanks Tony for posting those pics. It gives me a chance nto see how much work was done on the heads I got with the stroker. Now, if the shop will only hurry up and flow the darn things so I can proceed...

Here are some Out of the box heads side by side to a set of CNC ported heads

MRL, do you have a CNC program for those heads?

I wish I had $500,000 to own a 5 axis CNC machine, but I do not. There are so many palces that do this CNC porting that it doesnt make good business sense to spend the money to have one. I get mine from Hughes.
