Does anyone sell "crate" motors that are not "408"s?

What do your eddys flow after your facility machines them, better or worse than edelbrock? That could be a selling point for you.
A little better. Basically just clean up, correct valve job, good springs and valves. IMO any head that doesn't flow "amazing" doesn't sell any better. Eddys don't without some pretty porting, and with our street cam profiles, the cost to the consumer doesn't translate. In my opinion of course. What's 10 cfm at 600 lift when we use 549 lift cams. And gain 7 hp vs ootb. It's more piece of mind and proper procedure for us.

Gotcha.
That's a nice stock spec rebuilt bottom end .

Performance cam, 2.02 valves, little bit of port work, better pistons and higher compression ratio make the diff in $$$
Like 2oo something hp vs 4oo something hp.lol
Yeah for a stocker rebuild might be OK. Their process seems legit for what the OP mentioned. They do at least fire it up. No dyno.

Long time ago when MP offered those 360/380 horse crate motors, thought those were always a good running engine. I shoulda bought one back when jegs had em over a decade ago.
