Does the battery need to be relocated?

Any one know if you have to relocate the battery using the Schumacher kit for the S6 to bb conversion? Just looking at the tray it looks like it might be tight when the 440 goes in a 74 SE

battery tray should be fine where it is. A lot of people like to relocate the battery to the trunk but that is for traction ...maybe a cleaner look under hood without a battery taking up space but it will fit fine under hood with an RB.

YOu don't have to but it makes the engine bay a whole lot nicer.

Fits fine (these aren't Schumacher mounts, but theirs put the engine in the stock location).
