I have mine. Unfortunately "back then" Idaho alternated with a white background as the OP has, and a green background/ white letters in 67. I don't think they are as attractiveAllowed in WA, but I dont run em as there are restrictions to driving.....ie must be going to car show or some kind of event. Its not really enforced, but I dont need the hassle.

YOM has long been allowed in California, originally through 1962. About 2008 extended it through 1969 and recently to 1980.

In California since 1963 the plates remained with the car and if you are lucky you still have them.

Same in Idaho. When I flipped to the second set of plates in a stack at a swap meet and found mine, I knew it was meant to be.Pa does but i have to provide the plate I want to display...
