Just installed the door windows in my Swinger. I put in new cat whisker, and rubber wipe strips. There is so much adhesion between the rubber and the window, that it is very tough to roll up or down. The rubber also wants to "flip" in the direction that the window is moving. I tried spraying silicone, it helped, but didn't last. Anyone?

Had the same problem with mine and was afraid that the seal would rip. I found a couple of things that helped.
1. The seal will eventually get stiff enough to resist the flip down, but in the mean time roll the window down then back up a little so the outside whisker is pointed up, then wait for a few minutes and roll the window down completely.

2. Adjust the window so that it is closer to the whisker (toward the outside of the car). The tracks inside the door can be adjusted with a 7/16 wrench. Keep in mind that it will change all sorts of other alignments too so you might just have to find a happy medium. I stumbled on this one after I installed the roof rail moldings and had to adjust the glass to seal but this may not work on your swinger.

3. Waxing/rainXing your windows should help and last longer than the wd40 or other lube.

4. Keep that side of the car out of the sun... ;) yeah right, didn't work for me either
