More progress…. Windage, oil pump, pickup and pan installed. Master cylinder and pedals. Some NOS for some added ooomph. And also had some fun with the dimple dies. The purists may have issue with these sheet metal mods but I like it….

Very nice Douglas!

Just a suggestion... you may want to consider some kind of filter material/screen /mesh on the underside of the inner fenders or that beautiful engine won't stay clean for very long as the tires will kick up all kinds of dirt into the engine compartment.

If you look at the photo by the master cylinder you’ll see the mesh screen on two of the holes. I’m still fabbing out the underside pieces that sandwich in the screens. I hope to keep a good majority of debris out. This car won’t be driven daily or vey long distances.

Oh , ok , I see it now. I mentioned it because after having open hood scoops on cars, one of the drawbacks was the mess that collected in the engine bay. Looks great BTW!!

Long day today. Finished all the brake lines, steering, sway bar, fuel lines, and front brakes. May have to take a day off tomorrow. I’m bushed.

Need to polish the plastic where I cut off the tab but other than that, looks great! Ford Contour dual electric fans with Dakota Digital fan controller. Would have never known about this without this forum. Thanks!
