My Grandson Logan is down to the final 8 at the Jr. Dragster
Division 7 finals!

We hopped up his car so he can dial as fast as is legal in the class
of 6 to 9 year olds. It is easier for him to drive the strip when he is
chasing as the visibility and movement restrictions make it hard when you
are being chased in these tiny racecars!

Well, we go up and both dragsters are dialed
11.90 (Fastest legal Dial In for 6 to 9 year old Division).

You need to be dead right on your game in the last few
rounds as there are only the best in our Division are
still in contention.

Logans opponent put up a near perfect .004 reaction time.
Logan goes -.01 RED. Both cars were dial almost perfect
for the 11.90 bottom of the class despite the changing wind
ever few minutes. Every single pound you take out of these tiny
race car effects them a full .01. Our Stock/SS cars take around 10 pounds
to change a .01.

Last year was Logan's first year racing and he came away with
the Wally at the Division finals. His last race was a National Open
in Colorado and he was runner up in the finals breaking out by .003.

I am glad that I will probably be retired by the time these kids grow up into
the big boy cars!

Truthfully, I do not enjoy working on these little temperamental things very much
and they are not cheap to do a competitive car.

Excellent. One of the sons at an eatery we frequent, is just getting into JR/D.
I love to see youth interested in participating in motorsports.

I love to watch the kids in Jr. Dragster! Wish I had as good reaction times as some of those kids. 65

I am amazed how good a lot of those kids are that are only a few years
out of being in Diapers.

Come to think about it, I am pretty good some days myself. =
And I am probably only a few years out of Diapers Myself!

(However, coming from a different direction)
