drain plug in torque converter?

-

I've only seen them in 60's converters but if your inspection cover is the 2 piece design with a small section being held on by two 1/4" bolts you can yank it and spin the engine over and see real easy.

probably not.

X2 I can't say that I've ever seen a factory Chrysler converter with a drain plug in it. However, I know that back in the day, many transmission shops had a "converter flusher" to clean out converters and the shops would drill a hole in the front(engine side)cover and then tap the hole and put a 1/8" plug in it.

So have I. I mean, "easy" to find out........just pull the dust cover loose and rotate the engine, flashlight, mirror, etc...........

My 71 had it on the 904 converter. Easy to check, if you have the 2 piece cover.
