1966 Dodge Charger '426 Street Hemi' 4-speed

In 1973, I missed out on one. Dark blue with white interior, and with new Cragar S/S wheels.

Asking $2500. I offered him $2200.

So, if you could have any Mopar, what would it be???

I'll start...

A: 1967 Dart GTS 383...original, of course.

--or--

B: 1970 Plymouth Superbird...don't really care what drivetrain, but I guess, a HEMI 4 speed would fit the bill!!!...again, all original.

Of couse, I will never be able to afford either of these, but a guy can dream, can't he?

Yours....???

After thinking about this a bit more, I can probably add to my list a bit...

-1967 Plymouth GTX, HT or Vert, 440- 4 speed, or HEMI

-?? Sunbeam Tiger....I know, I know...don't slag me...not TECHNICALLY a Mopar when they were made, but Chrysler DID buy the Rootes Group which made the Sunbeam. Wish they could have figured out a way to get a Mopar small block in that engine bay.

I am kind of weird, I dont care if they are original because I would drive them and if they were original, I wouldnt want to.

71 Roadrunner 4spd Hemi with the grabber.
66 Imperial lebaron loaded.
68 Valiant with a pretty beefy 360, 6 speed, RMS suspension, dana 60 or 8 3/4 with Viper brakes all the way around and an ABS system fabbed in.

1970 Plymouth Sport Fury Gt w/optional 440+6 Pack engine

Car weight #4216 lbs. With 2.93 'highway gears', capable of 145+ MPH

Just for use on the Parkways and Interstate Highways, out-running the
State Troopers.

69 Hemi Charger 500,
69 1/2 M code super bee dark green, black vinyl top.
69 M code 440 cuda Notchback
That would keep me happy for awhile.

This may sound wierd, but a Duster or Demon, good body but not so nice that I couldn't drive it EVERY day. With either a modern v6 or v8, fuel injected, I'm getting soft in my old age and like running out to the pickup on cold mornings, opening door, turning key, running back inside while the pickup warms up, don't know if I would ever go back to a carb for a daily driver.

I'd like to own Joe Dirts clapped out Daytona and just beat around in it.

Otherwise I'd like a 70 Challenger T/A, make mine sublime.

62 Savoy slant 6 push button
66 D Dart
67 GTS automatic

Thats all

Maybe the 'prettiest' of the 1968 GTS cars.

Though it still has the GTS 383 Four Barrel emblem on the fender.
