I've done everthing to try to find the vibration, and I'm just wonderiing it's a 72 340 with a forged crank (interanlly balanced) could it be that (1)I have a torque converter that has balancing weights causing the problem or (2) the harmonic balancer is drilled for balancing, and maybe it is the wrong one. I have heard that the 72 is the last year for a forged crank and sometimes the harmonic balancer and/or torque converter were mis-matched in rebulid (maybe that's me)
 
if the motor is internally balanced you should have no weights on torque converter. if you knock off weight it shuold go away

I think that if you have an internally balanced motor you donot need weights on the torque converter and you have the wrong harmonic balancer.
 
It doesn't vibrate at idle, but starts ossilating around 55MPH tapers of then again at arond 75

Yep. Either of those will do it. If it were a engine balance issue it'd vibrate setting still in neutral when you rev it up and get worse the faster you drive. I'd try the easy thing first which is the tires. Take it to a shop and have them put on a spin balancer and see what they do. I've seen more out of round tires the past few yrs. it's unreal. If the tires prove ok have the driveshaft balance checked.
