I’m looking for that 4” shorter driveshaft that would go on a Duster or Dart Sport with a V8 and a 904 Transmission. Any leads would be greatly appreciated

Ok i have pile of drive shafts from various a body's so figure out the length or tell me which rear end is in your car and 25 plus the ride and its yours. shipping should not be bad just across the state.

thanks I’ll check it when I get off work tonight

Shorter than the driveshaft for the slant six with a 904
904 is a 904, lengthwise. Unless you've changed the rear end too, it's the same shaft.
A 727, on the other hand, is approximately 4" longer than a 904. That will take a different slip yoke, too.
Confirm what you have.
Below is the pan shape, 727 vs. 904

904 is 30 3/4" long, bellhousing face to tip of output shaft housing.
727 is 34 3/8".
904 has a 26 spline output shaft, a 727 is 30.

If you swapped in a small block and 904 in place of a slant 6 904, it uses the same driveshaft. Did you make some other change?
