If I remember correctly all camaro - chevelle & corvettes had 7/16 studs. They were on 4.75 bolt circle but still had 7/16 studs.

Here,s a pic. of an 8 1/4 axel, that snapped at the track.I put 50 series M/T street/strip radials on my 73 Dart Sport 340(372)stroked 4 speed. When I launched of the line my wheel past me!WHoooooooA!!Thank god I did,nt cave my 1/4 panel in.A bit of advise for anybody running some HP in front of the 8 1/4.....c-clip eliminators.Just showing what can snap.

Just wanted to let you guys know how I did my big driveshaft.
I found one out of a C body wagon. Big joints. Took it to my
local driveshaft shop. Told him the lenght I wanted.( 44 3/4 in)
He cut it down and balanced it, all for only $125.00.
The total I have in the whole thing with new joints is about
$200.00. Big diamater shaft and joints. This one should hold
up better than the old small joint shaft.
Just my 2 cents worth. GreenDuster.

That was a resourceful way to handle it, Brian!

Say, that's a great-looking Duster, by-the-way! I love the blacked-out hood!!! The wheels look really good on that car, too....

Are you running a 727? I figured you were since the C-body slip yoke worked in your car. Am I right?

Thanks for contributing to this thread....
