Drop a new tranny in my explorer orrrr....

Sell the pos and put a slant6 in my duster and drive it til I can scrounge the parts for my 318 what would be cheaper? As I see it it will need a engine, tranny prolly starter new belts, hoses battery, slant 6 driveshaft and a radiator

My daily drivers tranny went out. So I'm out of a driver car need to figure this out ASAP

I'm going to suggest repairing the Explorer will be the best plan. I don't know anything more about it other than bad trans though. It cant be too bad since it was daily driver before the trans went away.

Sell the pos...I had an exploDer and the trans. are notorius for going @ 60K and mine started slipping @ 62K.

i'd fix the explorer. i know quite a few people that drive the hell out of those things with no real issues..
