I'm trying to help a buddy out here with a disaster of a combo he needs to simy get going. The first issue is the dual
Pick up in a Ram Charger that is running WAY to much cam.
It is a 360 CID @ 8-1 with a purple 284/.528 (as I'm told) and a OE stock low stall converter. (What a dream ride huh?)
Other performance parts are a 625 Carter AFB, performer intake, headers I to true dual exhaust.

This is all wrong all day long. I do not have time to swap a cam out to a more suitable unit for this 2 ton heavy thing.

I think this distributor having a dual pick up hooked up is a problem. This will NOT idle worth a dang and will only run once warmed up and with two feet to drive it.

Which, if I can, pick up can I disconnect on the distributor.

There is a start anda run pickup on them. Your only real choice is to replace it with a distributor with the vacuum and centrifical advances. The up side is anything will be better than what you have...
