This is where they really dropped the ball……IMO of course. The scoop was a near perfect match for the bumper. They both have the sticking forward attack shape.
I have a couple of them. I think they were a given for the 71 Demon grille. The divider in the grille matched the scoop The stripe was used on the 71 Sizzler first and the scoop was available at the dealer late 71. That was the first thing I did on my Blue 71.
My Orange Demon did not come with the twin scoops or stripe. I want to use the Sizzler stripe with the painted grille and the Snorkel scoop. I plan on modifying the ends of the extra bumper flush and form fitted to the fenders better , Eliminate the bumper bolts point the front edge more and paint the bumper orange with the car.
If I could get it elastomer coated that would be awesome. I believe that was the intent of the Sizzler but they never completed it. The Twister got scoops The Sizzler didn't? The front spoiler was on it since new from Grand Spaulding Dodge. The race car nose the bumper is already molded in. That work is already done.
