I picked up another project I thought was better than it was not anyway. Passenger side upper control arm mount need repaired. The one closest to the front of the car. Can I adjust, replace or repair the bracket itself or do I need to change the whole piece out? I know they make an aftermarket repair for this but it is a front end piece and I like to be safe

It's not rust at all. It looks like it was damaged at some point in someone try to fix it. It's the only one mounting point. Closest to the front of the car

A picture is worth 1,000 words!

Someone did a bad unsafe repair. Not sure how they even drove it. Anyway, I want to try to fix it right. It's even the wrong cam bolt and adjusters and it's only this one part. The other side is fine and the rear mount on this side is fine

If it's damaged and a poor repair, I would tend to cut out that section of the frame and replace it with a good rust free section.
(If you are or someone you know is a good welder)
That means the foot or so containing the 2 mounts for the upper control arm.
I would tend to look at the area closely to discover why the mount was screwed up and repaired in the past and go from there...

That has been rusted off and welded up in the past . You can see in the picture the rail is shot. Get a clip. Quickest and easiest repair. We did complete replacements on a weekends . Drive in and drive out. Here is a members duster repaired in 2 days. Parts were here and prepped before it came in
