I have 275/60-15 on my '72 Demon mounted on SBP 15x8 US Indy slot mags. The wheels have 4.25" back spacing which put them super close to the springs. I opted to run a custom made 1/4" billet aluminum spacer, now I have plenty of room.

Cool, thanks. That sounds about like what I will do. I have extra long studs on rear so I can run a spacer if I need to.

I have 275/60R15 tires on 15X8 steel wheels. I had to trim about 1/4 inch off top of inner wheel lip. Car sits a stock height with no rubbing.View attachment 1715825233

Whats the wheel backspace and the front wheel size?

Rear 15x8 with 4 1/2 back space with
275/60-15 tires.
Front 15x7 with 4 1/4 back space with 205/65-15 tires
