Duster with a big hole

While it's apart i figured i might as well paint where the factory didn't,or at least not very well!

The new qtr. should be ready to weld on next weekend,i still have a little fitting and trimming yet to do on it.

Thanks Tony,i'll just be glad when both sides are welded up and i can move onto something else.

yep!!!!!!!!!!!! fun with quaters! trimming and fit are the worst part about it,since they never fit properly.......when you put that quater on you will notice that the lip is larger than the factory one.make sure you align thiswith the upper part of the outer wheen house....its very easy to have the quater in to much in that are due to the factory, slight bulge.ive done probrably about 9 sets of quater pannels in the last 6 years........last set was on a 72 cuda.......but with the alignment of the duster quater i know fromwhen i installed a set on my 73 dart sport...good luck, and dont weld too much at once!!!

Actually Boss Vega the lip on the new qtr. is a little smaller than the original around the wheelwell.
The new qtrs. my brother put on his RR were wider than the originals,they took alot of trimming down to get them the same as the originals.
I have it fitting pretty good just some small trimming to get right,hopefully everything will line up like it should.

Hey Kev,

Going through the same thing with the Dart. All mounted and welded now.

Sure is easy to work on the rear window roller upper and downer when that quarter is off.

The car is actually starting to take shape.

Primer in about a week or so it looks like.
