Can get pretty hot & humid up here too especially July to mid September.I just have to say, as fun as it is to get the Duster back out, it has been miserably hot. That is a hinderance to some extent. Both to my comfort and health. LOL.

It's getting multiple things before the next trip to the strip. I thought I wouldn't mention them all because then you get 75 posts of what you should be doing instead... LOL. What I'm doing isn't up for debate, but I'll list them as they are completed/done and no looking back and it will be on to the next item. Now, out to turn more wrenches!!!!I Have to do the same.
Seen you dig the car out, What's the 1st step to less slow ?
stock leafs, 65-67 B-body rear endNoticed rear has a nice rake! Mind sharing leaf spring set up? I'm looking to get same rake for my dart sport. Some 6 or so years ago bought the mopar xhd springs and they are sagging. They pretty much suck!
You can get a cheap mig, not too hard to mig and is pretty handy piece of equipment to have. Also, need to get some sub frame connectors welded in. I'm not a welder, nor do I have the equipment, so I'll have to find somebody close that knows what they are doing. I have the steel
yes. As Jpar would say "harbor freight" !! But I'm not learning on my sub frame connectors. Only, and ONLY if I can't get somebody to weld them in for me.You can get a cheap mig, not too hard to mig and is pretty handy piece of equipment to have.
You could probably talk Jpar into road tripping your way.Only, and ONLY if I can't get somebody to weld them in for me.
Actually, he did pretty good on all his welding's with his projectsYou could probably talk Jpar into road tripping your way.
He's meticulous on everything he does, that's one hell of a truck he restored, very nice.Actually, he did pretty good on all his welding's with his projects
DIY subframe connectors or uscartool? If you’re doing diy connectors, I’d say that’s one of the best things to learn/practice on since it’s all nice, thick steel. Much easier to learn on thick stuff than thinner stuff.yes. As Jpar would say "harbor freight" !! But I'm not learning on my sub frame connectors. Only, and ONLY if I can't get somebody to weld them in for me.

I have the steel, so DIY. It was one of the things Jadaharabi and I was going to do. I have welded about 40 years ago in shop class, and I did a little on a job once. But I don't claim to be a welder, and if I can hire it done that is what I am going to doDIY subframe connectors or uscartool?
