Earliest 340 date codes

I have a 340 with a date of June 22 1967. Did any of these early blocks have any quirks? When did they go into production?

68 was the first year so they were being cast and built in 67. Nothing wrong with them as far as I know.

So far it looks good. I just finished grinding out and smoothing the lifter valley. I never liked the way they just smashed out the casting flash at the factory. Hopefully, it will give me better oil return.
