Early A trunk floor extensions

I checked my 66 Dart into the body shop for some much needed lower 1/4 and trunk floor extension repair. I had a nice pair if used extensions purchased here from a member a few years ago. The body tech cut out the old and when he tried to fit the used pieces in they were 2" too short and both ends were a different shape thsn the originals. Becauae no-one repops the early A extensions, I ordered a pair of AMD's for a 67-69. I have read here that they are very close. Anybody else use them and what mods did you have to make?
