Early battery trays!

I'm in the process of media blasting my battery tray and the brackets. I need to know if the tray and brackets was painted the same color as the car or if it was painted black.

Any good pictures of an untouched car would be gladly appriciated

The battery tray and brackets were painted body color when the inner fenders, radiator support, and cowl were painted when the car came down the assembly line.

Thanks for the info! How much were they painted? Was it complete painted or just lightly oversprayed? Photo would be great!

I can not answer that for sure. I would suspect the top of the tray would have been painted pretty well as well as the front of the braces. I'd bet that the back side of the braces didn't get much paint, if any at all. I'm sure the bottom of the tray got paint but not as much as the top.
