Anyone know if the 64-66 Dart 22" radiator was the same one used in the barracudas?
I met a fellow with an early dart, and he had a 22" in there and he said it came that way, yet the top tank was not round, it was square.

64's came with smaller radiators due to the core support size. 65/66 Darts, Valiants, and Barracudas with the 273 came with 22 inch radiators and they were all round tops. Square tops came a lot later (but can be used in the early A)

My 1964 Valiant had this, aprox. 18 inch wide core.

Yea his 22 incher was a square top so it must have come from a later model.
I always heard the square tops are too tall to fit in early a's...maybe I will try it out.
hmm...

Crazy part is, he had the lower outlet on the passenger side, which is what I need, hence all the questions I asked him about it.

When I parted out a 65 Coronet I had, I tried the radiator in my 65 Dart and it was too tall.

The bottom hose location is opposite to /6 V8 applications as well. V8 is on driver's side and /6 on passenger side, as mentioned before. Although, they may look similar (round-top, near-center top hose location). So, you've got to be careful buying off of the internet. It may match make and model on a search but, pay attention. Some people out there don't know enough about what they're selling to be specific enough.
