Geez seems like the last few buys I've made on Ebay have been about a 25% screw up of some kind, either not as advertised, wrong size, SOME damn thing, and some sellers are less than cooperative.
Well here we are
This all started out buying an old used Linde Tig torch at the thrift store. 'Cept you cannot get consumables for it anymore, at least not cheap.............a 1/16" collet costs over 32 bucks!!!! In fact I FOUND a collet on the bay for a few bucks and the seller emailed me a strange statement about how he had to "cancel the order and refund my money" because "the collet had been crushed." No, methinks he "got a better offer."
Here's the thread about the used HF box I found, and the thrift store torch, which works as far as it goes. No 3/32 collet, and no spare 1/16 stuff, either

So I bought the tig torch below, an import knockoff of the Weldcraft series, and the consumables fit "a lot" of stuff. Got it today, and one end of the cotton pickin cable/ hose has LEFT HAND THREAD look closely at the bottom fitting
See the grooves in the nut? LEFT hand. See how the threads point the "other way?" LEFT hand. And to clarify, neither the torch nor the terminal adapter are LEFT hand.
