Ebrake and a Ford 8.8

Planning to add the emergency/ park brake to my Duster. Right now most of the assembly is gone. It is originally the pull style. Was going to spring for the kit inline tube offers but the car has a ford 8.8 in it. Will this work with an oe style cable setup? I imagine its going to take a different end on the cable or some modification. Anyone done this?

It doesn't hold that well. I think the stock pull handle doesn't have enough leverage to work well.

I have an 8.8 and I don’t have the e-brake connected right now… but I have looked at doing this and using the original handle and switch to activate it!

This video gives you the idea and I would think that one actuator could work… maybe I’m wrong but at least this gives you a jumping off point and make the mods to make it work in our cars!
