* Performer has been gasket matched to 340 exhaust port size.

Application is a 318 .040 over
Pistons .040 in the hole.
Mopar p4452761 268 cam advanced 4°
Heads are 4027183 (can't find cc#'s)
Mr Gasket 1121 head gaskets

Convertor choices (as best as I can track down the numbers, would love some clarification, all are 11")

Daaco 1700 stall ( stock truck replacement)
TCS "Hi Stall" 1978 and up 360 (weighted, was told 2500 stall came out of a LRE, weight would be removed)
B&M, either Tork Master 2000 or Holeshot 2400 stall (can't tell which)
Transmission is rebuilt a 727 out of a 1978 Little Red Express, if that makes any difference.
Edelbrock 1405 600 cfm or 1407 750cfm carb, I have both.

This would be going in a 1985 D150 SWB with an 8-1/4 rear and 2.94 gears.
Haven't decided what manifolds or headers I will use yet.

Given the truck and gearing, I'd use the Performer. The Stealth is a better intake but the ports (opening and overall volume) are 340/360. With stock 318 smaller port heads and a heavy truck I'd want smaller, faster intake ports. Even if there's a step at the head.

I believe the op mentioned the performer was opened up to 340 ports. How deep is unknown.

I thought the stealth was small port, I looked it up real quick on here when I bought it yesterday.

I will look at both after work. I think I went a few inches into the ports on the Perfomer, it was a while back.

The virgin stealth I had was sort of in the middle. Poor casting too. I opened it up (went on a 408) but they were larger than 318. I know you made the other ones larger but the cast runners are still smaller on the Performer. Hence my recommendation.

Here you go Ty,an edelbrock streetmaster 318.
Small 318 ports, short runners and single plane manifold with your 600 carb....low end torque!!
Oh it is Lucy approved !!!

You might have misread the casting # on the heads. It might be 4027163, for 318s between '77-'86.
