I just picked up a 65 Dart Gt Convertible and have a problem. I just put in a new turn signal switch and when I hit the brakes the right turn lamps light up. I replaced the wires 1 at a time so I'm stumped any ideas will be greatly accepted.

check your grounds at the tail lights, it can feed back through the system if the ground is bad.

ok all I really understand is you replaced the turn signal switch.
1. When you hit the brakes... do the brake lights come on ?
2. What right turn comes on , front ? rear ? dash indicater ? All ?

the right front turn lamp lights up but the right brake lamp does not so do I have the wiring from the switch for the 2 lamps backwards?

are you sure you have the right type of bulb in the tail light?
