I need some input on how you guys with pre 1970 cars updated your alternator/ voltage regulator..to the 2 field alt w/ electronic V reg. To make things more interesting I'm ditching my point distributor and installing a GM HEI.
My 64 ignition switch has a IGN1 & IGN2 with a ballast I know to jump the ballast., for the HEI. But I'm not quit sure were to tie in the wiring for the electronic V regulator. If someone can help me that would be great..I sure could use some help ASAP..........Thanks guys

Same place as you tie the ballast together. In other words coming out of the bulkhead you have IGN1 and IGN2. Those tie together. From there, all that feeds off to:

One field terminal of the alternator

Regulator IGN terminal

HEI IGN terminal

Coil + terminal

That looks just like what I needed to know. Thanks you've got all the answers.
