Well not really used it for loads of stuff since they invented it in 18?? something
The main difference is toxicity: Ethylene glycol (EG) is highly toxic and used in closed systems like automotive antifreeze, while Propylene glycol (PG) is significantly less toxic, making it suitable for food products, cosmetics, and personal care items. While EG offers superior heat transfer and freeze point depression, making it more effective, PG is a safer, non-toxic alternative for applications where human or animal exposure is possible.
basically if you vape have asthma, go to concerts nightclubs theatre childrens parties with smoke machine or big places where they put it through the aircon to dry out and kill any bacteria that may be lurking
You are exposed and breathe PG vapour reasonable regularly.
it drys out anything wet with water and its a very good solvent for lots of stuff like medicine nicotine etc, vaporises at low temperature, or when propelled from an aerosol hence its use as a "steam" in vapes and inhalers, or when exposed to ultrasonics which is how home use smoke machines sometimes work.
you would not be here NOW if it was Ethylene glycol
gave up the cigarettes by vaping and so...... YES i did a monumental amount of research
swapped 6000 bad chemicals 50% of which give you cancer for 3 chemicals none of which give you cancer and none of which are oil based...
Don't believe the popcorn lung rubbish reported in the press... thats people lying about what they actually vaped (i.e stuff that should never be vaped. big 5 fingered green leaves and buds) in order not to invalidate their medical insurance... which you would do if all the air sacs in your lungs collapsed and your only route to treatment is your insurance....can't blame them really
this outcome not seen in the UK, treatment free at point of access...the real reason for their lung disease is recorded... smoking high tar cigarettes for 40 years or trying to vape something oily that should never be vaped (as cool steam) in a vape.
Oil in lungs is bad... Water soluble stuff that isn't water in lungs not great but not bad.... your lungs wouldn't work if they were not wet.
