I've seen those cover with the pickup welded on...that's what I plan to do if I go that way. The stock port is only 3/8 NPT which is a loser from the get-go.

So....no one knows what's done for the dist gear if there is no oil pump?

You’d be better off copying the Milodon pickup than that cheap cover pictured above.

That’s what came with my pretty much useless until modified Stef’s pan. Luckily, I had one Milodon cover and pickup left and I used that instead.

The pickup tube as shown above is still too damn small.

can you rebuild the junk '93 casting? New rotor and slipper? Probably tons of these left NOS with the older metallurgy.
