Externally oiled head restrictor size.

If mounting LA heads on a magnum what size restrictor would be required for external rocker shaft oiling?

Anyone know what size Indy uses on their kit?
 
Considering MP suggests to enlarge the block passage for the heads to, ?11/32? I forget, that would be a close guesstimate I think.
 
My guess is 11/32 is for a LA block/head combo oil mod? Since that is a timed arrangement, (hole in cam lines up w/ hole in block) you are adding some volume. With a constant feed, I’m thinking you will have a retention pond going on up on top with an 11/32 “restriction”.
I’m thinking we are looking in the neighborhood of 1/8 (or maybe even less). IF we are talking about the same thing, though I’ll be the first to admit that I often misunderstand where the conversation is going.
 
People have run full time oiling cam bearings before without issue.

IMO, your over thinking this.
 
I'm trying to figure this out as well I have a thread in the SBM sub-forum... I'm using external oiling off the oil pressure sending port at the back of the block which is constant full pressure feed not timed like on a stock LA.
