Does anyone have pictures of the original 1973 Swinger hub caps? I found some online but they don’t match what my car had.

This is my ‘73 the day I brought her home. These are the original caps and wheels she came with day one. Hope that helps.

Here is a discussion here on forabodies on the subject. 1972 - 1976

Dodge hubcaps.

I found a close-up pic and may still have them. Just gotta check the garage. (Center cap is for a different wheel.)

I'm pretty sure there were a couple different wheel/hub cap options available & even some dealer installed wheels on some cars, but the hub caps in the pics are the most popular ones. I do have 4 very nice ones If any interest.

dealer installed
I worked at a Dodge dealer back in the 70's. We swapped wheels, caps, all the time.
Customer buys a Dart with Dog Dish but wants full wheel covers,Just swap with another Dart on the lot.
14'' Aspen SE wire wheel covers were a big hit along with swapping Rallye's and or Road wheels.

They were similar to these but apparently these were off b body cars. I wish I had taken a picture of the car the day I bought it.

Personal irritant: EVERYTHING pictured in this thread are WHEEL COVERS! NOT hubcaps!
Wheel covers cover the whole wheel, hubcaps cap the hub..... and JUST the hub!
Okay, carry on!

Didn’t realize that. Similar to the whole magazine v clip thing in the gun world.

Magazines have pages, clips have bullets.... or Frito bags, LOL.

Kidding. Well aware of the difference between clips and magazines.

I have seen those "wheel covers" on 70 & 71 Darts from the factory. They probably went to a new design in 72 & later Mopars. I also have it on good authority, that the things that hold the bullets in an auto/semi auto gun are called MAGIZINES, not clips. :usflag:

En-Bloc Clip.

Yes.Many times the owner of the dealership would reprimand the employees for calling them hubcaps.

Yea, grandma must have put some aftermarket wheel covers on it. Another dumb question but will those covers go over any wheel as long as it’s the same size?
The full cover may, dog dish is a bit more picky though.
