I figured out the squeal in my engine is the fan clutch. Do I need to replace it. It was new when I put it on. less that 500 miles on it. I really don't like the noise. I thought it was a main bearing at first but process of belts on and off determined it only happens when the fan is on. What's the best fix?

The Mopar Performance viscous fan is light weight and cools very well. Not cheap but well worth it. And it is designed for high RPM use unlike your regular parts store unit.

Be carefull with your fan clutch. If it goes even slightly out of balance it can snap the water pump shaft and cause major damage to radiator and/or underside of hood.
