I saw Farm Truck and Asian at the Drags in Salina tonight.He comes to the show every year but didnt race this year because he is trying to get back on "The List".Hers some pics from the Drags.The show pics are in my other thread on the show.

Nice pics . When I read the thread title,I thought" Asian in farm truck ,needs help". My apologies....
 
Yes,I should have worded it differantly.I assumed everybody watchs Street Outlaws on Discovery.Sorry.
 
There is a series on the Discovery Channel that is called Street Outlaws.Its about organized street racing in Oklahoma City.They have a top 10 list and you have to challange your way up through the list.The farm truck was in position 10 but lost his spot.You can look on youtube under farm truck or street outlaws.I will try and link but I have not done it before.

It's cool to see them at car shows before they were on TV. I've seen them during the Last Run car show in Ark City that the Tumbleweeds put on and racing at Mid America Dragway showing off. Hope to see them there this September.
 
On Saturday when they race they don't race on the street. I heard they race on and old closed down air strip. Lotta of BS and drama, but the passes they make and the power displayed is worth me wading through all the other crap.
 
I never understand why they take a good concept for a show but ruin it with MTV type drama. Pinks is just as lame with that drama queen running it. Overhaulin' would have been just fine w/o the whole "your car got stolen!" silliness. Deadliest Catch, Gold Rush, etc, etc. I just get tired of it all. It's like the producers think that is why people tune in, in my case IF I tune in it's in spite of the drama. Oh and please stop taking a 30 minute show and stretching it to 60 minutes by re-running the last 5 minutes after every commercial like I just turned over from Full House reruns or something!
 
Farm truck is the only real street vehicle in the bunch ,the rest ride to and from the race on a trailer

It's because the younger crowd likes exactly that, DRAMA. Not all, but most.

My youngest daughter is the epitome of drama, if she can't find some she'll create some. 18 years old too. :banghead:
 
Never heard of them, but is it safe to assume that Farm Truck is the guy with the country hat and Asian is the one with the sunglasses?

Yeah, I've seen that truck before, just never heard of the name of the drivers before. Just so there's no confusion, I am White Boy.
