FAST XFI XIM Harness. must be wrong!!

-
So you guys got me worried so I went and pulled out the factory harness to compare all the plugs. All my plugs are the same except the crank sensor. The crank plug is the same as the oil pressure plug on the factory harness. Did you guys get any oil pressure plugs on your fast harness?

I just got my FAST kit as well and neither the crank or cam connectors fit. There is no oil pressure plug on the harness.

They sent a Chevy intake air temp sensor (p/n 307004) with my kit which doesnt fit the harness plug. You have to use a Mopar sensor. I believe the p/n is 4606487AB, but I havent bought it yet to confirm.
I'll be contacting FAST to find out what is happening.
My engine is a 2010 production line Hemi. maybe different years have different sensors?

I didn't even think about that, I have a mopar one in the intake tube that cam with the engine. But I checked the sensor they sent and mine is the same as yours, Chevy.

To my 2005 5,7 only connector which didn´t fit was H2O. But I switch the pigtail from old loom. In the kit there was still GM H2O sensor, but different threads comparing to Mopar.
I think there have been some sensor changes in production line of hemis, and FAST didnt reconaise this...
Hopely you can sort things out with them.

This is my cam position sensor p/n 05149054AC. The supplied connector is not compatible with this sensor.

My crank position sensor is p/n 05149009AB which will not mate with the supplied connector.

I'm in contact with FAST and they are supposed to get me the Mopar part numbers for these sensors that will mate with the wiring harness connectors. Will post as soon as I get them.

Mine is the same on both. I compared the cam plug with the original harness and it looked the same. but I will double check. Ok the cam sensor I have works with the plug on fast harness. I have been dealing with fastman efi as that's who I got my kit through. I e-mailed him when I noticed the plugs and the crank sensor would not work and he gave me a company called Standard engine performance specialists crank sensor part number pc562. I am going to try to find one locally if not I will order one. I still need to find the plug for the air temp sensor that fast sent me. At first I thought maybe it was fast screwing up the plugs but turns out dodge did two running changes to there connectors.

That looks like it will fit - based on the photo of the part. Crosses to Mopar p/n 56028815AA

I got some good info to remedy this problem;
`09 and up Hemi`s have a revised sensor package which will not work with the FAST harnessess, You need 08 or earlier sensors.
These are the part #`s that will fit;
Crank sensor, 56028815-AA
Cam, 56028133-AB
Air temp, 4606487-AB
H20, 5269870-AB
IAC 307016
TPS plug has to be repined for my sensor which i`m using with the BBK TB, but any 3 pin TPS sensor will work with the FAST XFI.

I hope this helps you out.

I just got confirmation back from FAST - and those are the correct part numbers. Looks like we are good to go!!

I got the FAST 92 mm Big Mouth throttle body (FAST p/n 54092) with TPS (FAST p/n 54020) in my kit and the cables hook right up to it and the IAC (FAST p/n 307059) which also came in my kit.

I've been corresponding with David Page at FAST about the correct sensors to mate with the harnesses. he has been a great help with quick answers to questions. I suggested that FAST include a 1 page list with each kit so that installers knew exactly what sensors are needed. I also suggested not including the incompatible Chevy IAT sensor with the kit and make it an option.
He got back to me the next day with a proposed instruction sheet and agreed that the kit will no longer include the Chevy IAT sensor!!
Very impressed.
This is what the new sheet will say

Chrysler 5.7 & 6.1 Hemi Ignition Adapter Harness notes for Part #s 301314 & 301316
The “Late” hemi engines have been equipped with several variations of sensors (Cam, Crank, Air Temp, and Coolant Temp). This harness was developed around the 2005-2008 engines. It will plug directly into the factory sensors on most engines produced within these years but some 2008 models are reported to have the later sensors so please check your sensors against the connectors on these harnesses before you attempt installation.
Below is a list of Chrysler part numbers for sensors that mate to this harness. These sensors are interchangeable with the later sensors.
Crank Sensor 56028815-AA
Cam Sensor 56028133AB
Air Temp Sensor 4606487AB
Coolant Temp Sensor 5269870AB

I know its been awhile since this has been discussed. We all know that most of us have received the wrong AIT sensor for the plug provided buy FAST. I found that a screw in style AIT is for an srt 4 will work with some minor mods. Part number is 56027872. Just thought I would share what I found.
