Went to a local Show & Shine in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island on Sunday. Not too many A-Bodies, but the ones there were very nice. And a few surprising cars as well. Didn't bump into anyone from FABO, but did introduce one Duster owner to our little group.

That Sublime SuperBee won Best Mopar.

I passed along our website info to the owner of the Baby Blue Duster.

comoxian! didn't get to see you there unfortunatly, but i was there. as for the 69 dart in the first pic, thats a friend of mines, and he still races it! every august at Thunder In The Valley, and usually wins every race he does. its an original 383 4 speed car. i took some pics too, i'll post them later, got a few mopars you missed.

Actually I thought of your car when I saw that one Mike, it might just be the same color, it looked like it was recently painted so it would appear a bit darker without any fading
 

200 mustangs and corvetts and a hand full of nice mopars. I took a few of the 67 B bodies for my Dad but there were some nice A bodies.

That was an awesome turnout for a simple cruise-in / show-n-shine event considering gas prices, etc...

Whoa? WTF??? Nice show, but I was under the impression that folks in BC had one hell of a time trying to pass inspection to get older cars on the road.
 
You're under the wrong impression for the most part, Vancouver has the air care program that is a pain but the rest of the province doesn't as far as I know. I'm on Vancouver Island where the show with most of the pictures were taken and we don't have to deal with that. The other problem we DO have in BC is bringing a vehicle in from out of province, it has to go through inpsection no matter where you live and that can be a major pain, it's a safety inspection though not air care which has the emissions inspection as well.
