I have a handful of Front Fender Extensions. I have both Fiberglass and Metal. I also have trim for each.
Once bolted on the car, each appear to be exactly the same. The difference is, the fiberglass one uses a shorter chrome trim piece that wraps around the inside portion where the headlight bezels will sit, and the metal one uses a trim piece twice as deep, or vice versa.
The question is, with a 70-72 dart grill, does the difference in depth on the inside chrome trim make a difference, or is it just the design of the fiberglass vs. metal types?
