so would the paint codes be 27q and 28q? I've looked at the paint chips from 66 and kind of thought it was the maroon poly? Thats what looks closest from the original color???
 
Based on this fender tag, what paint code would be for the dash, doors, convertible frame????
Would the paint code be 34X?

Is there a specific black? Satin, gloss, flat? I have a pretty good parts store by me with a great paint department, would he be able to mix the correct paint from the tag???

In at least '67 and up metal dash frames, column, glove box are a textured black satin in. Rustoleum textured black works very well. Not sure in 65. Look in corner of dash frame unexposed, under dash pad, inside glove comparement box.

Upper door frames and lower frame under the door panel are gloss black.

Conv top mech is semi gloss black.

Codes should be in the factory repair manual I believe.
