want to purchace fiberglass bumpers for my 71 dart,i tried online ordering fron unlimited fiberglass and aar fiberglass a few months ago,and never heard nothing, tried emailing them and wrote on there facebook, and heard nothing, any other place I can try, like to get unlimited tall sixpack hood for the dart too,as there the only ones I can find that has them, heard bad receiws about unlimited fiberglass as everyone has to redo there work, guess I have to call them, just don't understand why they wont reply to me

calling is you best bet. just accept that all fiberglass parts will need some work.

I called them, and ordered a 6-pack race weight hood for my 68 barracuda a few yrs. back. don`t remember how they wanted to be paid, but they sent it when they said they would. it is the best fitting fiberglass hood I`ve ever installed. also put a hinged one from them on my 92 GMC shortbed, it reqired a little messaging, but fit pretty darn good too! used to be $99 shipping anywhere.---bob

AAR in my experience is total junk. My hood is a mess.

In the past I used glasstek and had very god luck . The silver car shown has glass bumpers from glasstek and they are nearly as delivered. It also has glasstek hood and fenders.

Purple car has an AAR hood previous owner bought. Junk.

I wish I could help you out, but I make the 62-68 Mopar S/S parts. I do have a lift off Demon / Dart hood mold that we made as a favor, but that is the only thing above 1970 that we make. We are Sled City Fiberglass.

AAR is the "best" out there my sixpack hood fit perfect and needed nothing but paint prep..as far as fibreglass body parts i'd ONLY buy from AAR or Glasstek..

consider yourself lucky. Mine is wavy, has poor lines, and sags when hot.

When did you guys buy these perfect hoods?

Mine was bought about 12 years ago

Got mine 7 years ago.a friend has one on his '68 runner bought it a year after me his needed only paint prep too..

Ordered a trunk lid for a 71 duster from unlimited on a sunday evening via the internet...they called me back on monday to confirm the order....tell me how long before it shipped and the shipping price...

ordered it on 4/26/16

AAR had a short time when they were shipping junk. I've had both good and bad from them.
Unlimited is going through some changes for the better.
Glasstek is now my go to because I have never gotten a bad part from them.

Oldwoody / sled if you guys molded dashes you would make a killing!
Hint hint a 67-69 dash please
Oldwoody is taking the hint but we have other molds to build first. We are doing the 65 Dart molds right now to get a friends car together then we will be doing a "CORRECT" 67-69 HEMI Dart hood that NHRA will pass through tech, not like some of them butt ugly oversized hoods that the market is being flooded with. Then we will be doing a one piece tilt style front end and a 3 piece front end for the same car. Notice that I did not mention what brand, but it is Mopar orientated. In the mean time I will do the dash plug for the A-Body. See ya at the Chrysler Power Classic. Always a good race, show, and swap meet, May 15-17 at National Trail Raceway, near Columbus, Ohio.:burnout::burnout:

I called Unlimited and ordered a front glass bumper for my Duster last year. Minimum prep and had it shot silver. Mounted it up with a pair of Jeff's aluminum brackets. Looks great. I'll be getting a lighter hood from them eventually.

Bumper looks real good A Body and I'm a big fan of the cowl hoods.

odered them on Monday, they did call me later in the evening for a conformation and more info and a total with shipping, guess they don't stock anything ,just make them as orders come in,told me 4-5 weeks

a body what color silver did you use

It was the "chrome" paint you can get via Eastwood's that a friend wanted to try. For the expense he learned that you can get a silver that is just as bright and not as expensive.

I was looking at glass parts for the duster and stumbled across a place here in Oregon, but the prices seemed a bit high. On the other hand if i didn't have to pay for shipping and i could possibly see the parts before I buy!? so I called and after a short talk he says it'll be 5-6 weeks for my order to get shipped from back east? #-o of course I'd have to pay for shipping ! :violent1: HEY I GOT AN IDEA!!! I'm opening new business called jpar's parts. Just ad 20% to any part you're looking for and I'll order it for ya?:D sounds like a good deal to me. He had mostly cheby stuff and all mopar stuff was listed under dodge ? Even my duster ! That should have been a clue ? Looking forward to seeing your glass parts .
